LinkedIn Sharing (including SlideShare) of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company

Please find more information on the data protection in the Twitter Data Protection Statement.

YouTube
We embed YouTube videos on our website. YouTube is owned by Google Inc. When simply loading a page containing a video (so before you click on the video), YouTube will collect information about your visit and store this information on servers in the United States for an undetermined amount of time. This information may also be shared with third parties for a wide array of purposes, including serving you personalised advertisements. To avoid this, we have enabled the privacy-enhanced mode for our YouTube vidoes on this website. This means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors unless you watch the video. It also means that you have to accept non-essential cookies for the video to load on our website.

You can find further information on the data protection in context with YouTube in the Google Data Protection Regulations.

GoToWebinar
We use GoToWebinar to host our live webinars.  To participate in our advertised webinar you must register with your name and email address which is only used to provide you with details about the webinar, including a reminder email and the link to the webinar. You do not need to have a GoToWebinar account to join our webinars.

MailChimp
We use MailChimp by The Rocket Science Group, LLC as our newsletter platform. When you enter data through our subscription form on the website (email, name), this information is stored on MailChimp servers in U.S.

To generate performance reports for email campaigns, Mailchimp places web beacons (tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers) in the email campaigns to record actions from subscribers. These technologies record each subscriber’s email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign.

Mailchimp contractually commits to transfer and process all of its users’ European data in compliance with the Standard Contractual Clauses* (SCCs”), which continue to give their users’ the ability to lawfully transfer data subject to the European data protection law (including the GDPR) outside of Europe to Mailchimp in the United States. The SCCs automatically apply in accordance with Mailchimp’s Data Processing Addendum. We have also signed a data processing agreement with MailChimp. In subscribing to our newsletter, you accept that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Learn more about Mailchimp’s privacy practices.

*According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), contractual clauses ensuring appropriate data protection safeguards can be used as a ground for data transfers from the EU to third countries. This includes model contract clauses – so-called standard contractual clauses (SCCs) – that have been “pre-approved” by the European Commission.
